Amanda,
I'm so sorry we don't have any dresses at the Mall. We do have homecoming dresses in storage. The problem is that I've been spending all my time in Denver, caring for my dying mom. Unfortunately, I have not had time to build a volunteer team to staff a storefront like we did last year for prom. It was my hearts desire, but my mom got very sick with lung cancer in June. I'm so sorry I can't be there to grant your wishes this time.

Sincerely,

Dee Valdez

Many thanks to everyone who has dropped of dresses at wonderful Burke Cleaners! We have more than 115 dresses today. Remember you can also drop them off at the Outlet Mall in Loveland, the High Schools in Loveland, several locations at and near CSU. Crossroads Church at 57th and Taft is our nearest location.

We really need men's dress clothes: slacks, dress shoes, belts, dress shirts, ties, jackets. Let's show our support to the young men in need in Northern Colorado!

I love it. Particularly this part:

"Baby Boomers were so about determining who a person was based on how they look, their title, their house and car rather then how they act. Millennials are all about determining who a person is based on how they act."

It perfectly describes the problem that Millennials face as they enter the workplace. Young and old mashing together - and the boomers who can't cope/adapt are getting very, very scared - if the articles in the Economist are any indication.
I have to tell you, Dee, how inspiring it is to work for you. Who knew that there was someone out there willing to take time to listen to us young whippersnappers! We do have something to offer the world, and although we may express ourselves differently, we can make a difference. Plus, without us Millennials, who will pick your nursing home?
